My lovely, smart, beautiful sister, Nancy DeMaria, just published an article in Verily Magazine entitled, "Getting Rid of Our Periods Isn't as Awesome as It Sounds." It is in response to an article published by The Atlantic supporting IUD's as a one-size-fits-all "cure" for the painful health issues, like endometriosis, related to a woman's monthly cycle.
